Method of detection and recognition of long range and high density visual markers. The proposal consists of a full-range, high-density visual marker system (marker design and detection procedure). The design uses a traditional localization system typical of long-range markers. The proposal is therefore focused on the information coding system, which in our case is a four-state code based on color, which doubles the code density with respect to traditional black and white systems. On the other hand, the detection procedure requires very few computational resources, which makes it very efficient and especially suitable for mobile devices.
